Landscape Painter

My paintings are a depiction of light and dark found in a landscape. They try to be evocative of everything found in nature and its immersion into our beings whether superficial or of a much deeper feeling that envelopes our being.
I have travelled in the USA, Europe and the UK and like to base my landscape experiences on the notion of not standing still. We are forever moving forward in our lives and the landscape is always changing: the skies, the earth, the water, day and night, warm and cold, nothing is ever the same. We just travel through it all.
One day it will be good and the next not so but there is always something new to see, some new experience to encounter and absorb. I love road trips: travelling and recording the various stages and different landscapes and the history that has made them.
Here are just a few of the journeys that I have made.
